Dr. János Kóka

/ Chairman, Cellum Global Corp.

ICT entrepreneur, investor and manager, former government minister Dr. János Kóka has been chairman and CEO of Cellum since 2011. After graduating from medical school in 1996 Kóka served as managing director of Elender Computer Ltd, and from 1998 as CEO of Elender Informatics Inc. In 1999 he first became Country Manager and then in 2000 European Vice President of Business Development at PSINet Inc. From July 2000 he continued his career as chairman of the board of Webigen Inc., then in October 2002 he became CEO of Elender Business Communications. In 2004 he was elected president of Euroweb Internet Service Provider Inc. He was president of the Hungarian Association of IT Companies from March 2003 until October 2004. From 2003 he served on the board of the European ICT Association based in Brussels, and as chairman of the Hungarian-Indonesian Joint Business Council. In October 2004 Kóka was appointed minister of economy and transport of the Republic of Hungary, a position he was reappointed to in June 2006. Between 2007-2008 he served as president of the country’s Liberal Party, and as its parliamentary group leader until 2010, when he left politics and returned to the business world.
As CEO and co-shareholder of Cellum since 2011, he has been supervising the international expansion of the company with a strategy that combines global fintech competitiveness with strong local partnerships. Under his leadership, Cellum was ranked in the TOP3 most successful Hungarian start-up companies by a leading Hungarian business magazine in 2014. He was the co-founder of Aquincum Incubator, a leading Hungarian tech accelerator company and has been member of the advisory board of TripleP, a Singaporean impact investment fund. Dr. Kóka has been a member of the BMW World Leaders Forum and the Global Diplomacy Lab since 2015, as well as the BMW Herbert Quandt Foundation’s European Table and Global Table initiatives since 2016.

Krisztián Rácz

/ CEO, Cellum Corp. & Cellum Global Corp.; VP Business Development & PM

Krisztián Rácz is a business management professional with over two decades of experience. He received a BA (Honours) degree in Business Studies at the International Business School – Budapest. Rácz started his career as Statistical Analyst at the Hungarian National Bank. From 1997 he worked in the area of strategic planning and later as Project Manager at Dunaholding Inc. He worked at Hungarian ISP Elender from 1999, which was later acquired by PSINet, holding positions of Project Manager, Product Manager for Europe and Business Development Manager. In 2005, while working at the State Motorway Management Company as Advisor and Project Manager, he took part in preparing the introduction of the electronic toll payment system. In the following years, he held various leading positions at a number of private companies, was Member of the Board of CardNet and Investment Director at Alder. Rácz joined Cellum in 2014, where besides his position as CEO of Cellum Corp., he is also responsible for business development and project management.

Andrea Markó

/ Chief Financial Officer

Andrea Markó graduated from the University of Miskolc with a degree in engineering, and later obtained a second degree in economics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 1995 and then an MBA in 1997. She is a certified accountant, ACCA DipIFR, accredited controller, accredited change management consultant and certified LEAN manager. She has gained 20 years of financial and leadership experience in various management positions at a range of multinational and Hungarian corporations. She was first Project Manager and later Controller at HEINZ Kecskeméti Konzervgyár Ltd., and then served as CFO of various companies (Avery Dennison Hungary, Credit Invest Ltd., Aeroplex of Central Europe Ltd.,). From 2005 to 2008 she served at the Hungarian Ministry of Finance as Director General and later as State Secretary. In 2009 she became CEO of Hungarocontrol, the Hungarian air traffic control company. From 2011 she served as Interim Project Manager, CFO and consultant at various companies (Magyar Telekom, Gasztrometál Zrt., Lufthansa Technik Budapest Kft.). She joined Cellum in August 2015, where she has overall responsibility for the group’s financial operations.

Zoltán Ács

/ Head of Innovation, Director of Cellum Asia

Zoltán Ács graduated from the University of Veszprém with a degree in engineering and information technology, then obtained a second degree in economics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2010. He has deep experience in operating IT and telecommunications systems, having held several positions in the areas of system operation and development. He has lead the development of mobile commerce systems at Cellum Zrt. and MPP Zrt. since 2006.

András Molnár is Deputy CEO of PortfoLion Ventures, the venture capital arm of OTP Group. He has gained substantial professional experience both in the US and the EU in managing small, innovative companies with high growth potential. Gyula Lepp

Gyula Lepp is the largest private investor in the Hungarian electronic payment industry, being the majority owner of CardNet, Hungary's leading POS operator and transaction service provider. He was CEO and chairman of Elender Business Internet from 1998 to 2000, when the company was purchased by a strategic buyer. He then went on to become an angel investor in a number of different industries and companies, and has been an investor in Cellum since 2006.
